A recount retells past events or experiences in the order they happened.
A recount consist of three main parts :
* Orientation
This part introduces the scene/ give details of : Who/What/Where/When/Why
* Events
This part retells what happened in chronological order. It uses time connectives such as first, next, soon, after that, later, finally.
* Re-orientation (optional)
This part tells the writers comment about the events that happened. it can also be said as a conclusion of the text.
